NOTE: All new water slip and valet customers are required to have Essex Marina do the engine winterization, shrink wrap and store your boat on the premises every winter. Those who are not interested in all of the services mentioned will not be considered.
Curt is a graduate of University of Lowell, now UMass Lowell, and has earned three Engineering Degrees in Electromechanical and Manufacturing Technology. While working in the Corporate World, in the High Tech Sector, Curt followed his passion for boats and started his own business called Danversport Marine Services specializing in the repair of Mercruiser engines. Ten years later, Curt and Lindsay bought Essex Marina, where Curt is able to utilize his engineering skills in all facets of the Marina Business, as well as expand on his mechanical capabilities being certified to work on Mercury Outboard Motors.
Dave is a Certified Mercury Marine Master Mechanic and has been working on Mercury Engines since 1975. Dave was awarded the Mercury Master Mechanic Award in 1985 for providing outstanding service to every Mercury Engine that came through his shop. Dave and his wife Collette owned Yankee Engine and Marine for 20 years out of Gloucester and Danvers, then sold the business to what is now, Portside Marine out of Danvers, MA. Dave and his wife Collette enjoy wintering in Florida and are avid yogi’s who also like to attend yoga retreats. When not traveling via airplane, they enjoy taking trips on their motorcycle with friends.
Dave is a valued member and asset of the Essex Marina Team.
Austin is a graduate of the Marine Mechanic Institute in Orlando, Florida. He has been working in the Marine Industry since 2015 and has worked at various boat yards and held different positions including Yacht Maintenance Technician in Boston Harbor. Austin came to Essex Marina in 2018 and has worked as a Mechanic while earning his Mercury Certification from Mercury University.
Austin is a valued member and asset of the Essex Marina Team.
